I just love maple glazed carrots, and they are so simple to make in a slow cooker.
This Summer one of my neighbors took a road trip through Canada. He brought me a souvenir that was just perfect for me – a tin of real Canadian maple syrup.
I haven’t used any of it on the usual pancakes or waffles, but have been having lots of fun using it in other dishes. The natural sweetness of the syrup and vegetables go well together. In this recipe, the maple enhances the flavor of the carrots instead of competing with it.
Slow Cooker Maple Glazed Carrots are simple to make. They take less than 5 minutes of prep time and then you can let your crock pot do the rest of the work.
