H.H. Cotton’s Grill San Clemente
Lunch in a South Orange County beach town is always nice, so I recommend H.H.Cotton’s Grill San Clemente.
This is a fun community, so locals and visitors enjoy it. There are a lot of nice shops and restaurants on Del Mar, which is the main road the heads down to the pier and beach.
H.H. Cotton’s American Bar and Grill is on the corner of Del Mar and Ola Vista. There is some street parking out front, but it’s generally crowded.
There is ample free parking in their lot behind the building. Just watch the signs, so you make sure you’re using the correct spaces.
The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.
They were able to easily accommodate the group that I was with, but it also seemed like a place where someone could go alone and enjoy a meal and a drink.
There are indoor tables, seats at the bar and a small, dog-friendly patio.
They serve up trendy comfort food that is made from scratch and prepared to order. I noticed a lot of people ordered burgers and sandwiches that looked great.
However, the beet salad is what caught my eye. The salad had red and yellow beets, local greens, goat cheese, pecans and a house made vinaigrette.
Service was quick and friendly. They made us feel welcome and we were taken care of well.
