Ridgecrest Tea Room
While on a road trip in the Mojave Desert, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this little gem. Yes, there is a Ridgecrest tea room and it is the perfect spot for afternoon tea.
The tea room is located in a separate building behind My Enchanted Cottage gift shop. It’s open limited hours from 11am to 3pm Tuesday through Saturday, so you’ll want to plan your visit accordingly.
Walk through the shop and out the back door. Then, you’ll come upon the tea room.
Reservations are encouraged, so that the small venue can prepare for your visit. You can place your scone order ahead of time, since they are baked to order.
On this visit, we just had tea and it was a wonderful afternoon pick me up. We chose a pot of robust Irish breakfast tea, since that was just what we needed. Loose leaf tea is available for purchase in the gift shop, if you need more to bring home with you.

Tea Cottage
The atmosphere is lovely, which is just right for a tea house. Tea is served in an eclectic assortment of vintage tea pots and cups. Tables are also set with vintage linens and table cloths and the decor is similar.
We enjoyed our afternoon tea, so now I’m thinking that this is a tradition that I need to put into practice regularly.
