When I saw the name of this business, I knew I had to try Shaved Ice Ice Baby in Lake Forest.
This Summer I’ve been enjoying the shaved ice trend. Fortunately, there are a lot of shaved ice places opening up in Southern California.
Shaved Ice Ice Baby is on Lake Forest Drive near where the 5 and 405 freeways meet.
I’ll admit that it was their cute name that first drew me in, but I’ll be back for more shaved ice.
The interior of the shop and the menu are very simple.
You can order a plate to eat there or a cup to go. First you choose your flavor (or flavors) of shaved ice. Then you choose your toppings and drizzle.
This is a large sized plate that was more than enough for two of us.

We opted for chocolate shaved ice topped with chocolate chips and mango shaved ice topped with chunks of fresh mango.
The whole thing was drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. I like combining fruit and chocolate and this was delicious.
They have board games available for those who are eating in.
The shaved ice was good and it was a fun way to spend an evening.
