Class 302 Tea Cafe
Irvine is home to a fantastic assortment of Asian restaurants and I was happy to discover Class 302 Tea Cafe. The Taiwanese fast casual restaurant offers self-serve boba, food to go and, also, table service.
The restaurant is cute and has a schoolhouse theme. Some tables are made from actual school desks that adult knees may just barely fit under. Additionally, there are tables that have stools like the ones that were in shop class when I was a kid.
The food menu has a good selection of authentic Taiwanese entrees and appetizers. We generally like to try unique foods and our server was able to explain things that were unfamiliar to us.
Even items that sounded like they may have been Americanized, like French fries and deep fried mushrooms were prepared Taiwan style.

Class 302 is a good choice for a quick drink or for a sit down meal or dessert. Yes, you’ll want to save room for dessert, since their shave ice is really good.
Portions are large, so you may be able to share even the smallest size shave ice.
