Carmel by The Sea Caraccioli Cellars Tasting Room
Caraccioli Cellars is a family owned winery with vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands and a tasting room in nearby Carmel by The Sea.
They grow the pinot noir and chardonnay grapes that do so well in this area. In addition to still wines, they also produce sparkling wines.
The tasting room is in the quaint downtown area of Carmel by the Sea.
It is open 7 days a week for walk ins and can also be reserved for larger groups and private events.
The tasting room has a trendy and comfortable modern, rustic look. Staff was friendly and helpful.
My favorite sparkling wine was the 2009 Brut Cuvée, which was just perfect for a warm Summer afternoon.
The 2012 Chardonnay was great for those who like white wine.
If you’re looking for a good wine that would pair well with a variety of foods or that would make a nice gift, this is an excellent choice.
I enjoyed the tasting room and the wine!
