Sometimes, you just need a little treat!
When I saw ST Patisserie Chocolat, I had to go in …. just to look. Naturally, this also led to indulging in some chocolate goodness.
Stephane Treand is a World Pastry Champion from France. He dreamed of California and eventually moved here in 2005. He worked at the Four Seasons and St. Regis Monarch Beach here in Orange County and now has his own patisserie and cooking school at SoCo.
The pastries are little works of art. There are also chocolate bars and treats packaged to go. I enjoyed looking at the beautiful macarons, eclairs, tarts and cakes. With the hot weather, I opted for chocolate gelato in a fresh waffle cone. It hit the spot!
