Tuna Avocado Soft Tostada

disclosure

During the warm summer months, I’m always looking to create meals that satisfy with minimal oven or stove use. This Tuna Avocado Soft Tostada recipe only takes a few minutes in the oven, prep time is quick and it’s easy to adapt the ingredients to what I have on hand and the quantity can easily be increased for a crowd.

Tuna is one of those food items that can be an issue for ethical reasons. Unlike other brands, Wild Planet is 100{4c41c5a6ab44e2224e17847b62ec61552d6cbb33ba429922acdf026e40af1447} sustainably caught. The quality is always excellent and I’m happy to support a company that cares about our Earth.

Tuna Avocado Soft Tostadas

Ingredients:

6 Small Corn Tortillas
1 Can Wild Planet Albacore Tuna
1 Large Avocado (or 3 small)
Cilantro
Cheese
Optional: Finger Lime

Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 350°.

Place tortillas on a baking sheet. Layer each one with mashed avocado, cilantro, tuna and cheese.

Bake for about 5 minutes – just until cheese is melted.

Optional: Garnish with Finger Lime

Tips:

I like this recipe as a soft tostada, since the texture of the soft tortilla goes so well with the creamy, warm avocado. If you prefer a crunchy tostada, you can use a pre-packaged tostada shell or make your own.
