The Yard House Happy Hour
When I took a road trip to Palmdale, I enjoyed the Yard House happy hour at the Antelope Valley Mall. I’ve been to other locations for lunch and dinner, but this was the first time I arrived at the right time for happy hour.
The menu and timing can vary at each location, but in Palmdale happy hour is from 3 to 6pm Monday through Friday. Additionally, there is a late night happy hour after 10pm Sunday through Wednesday.
Select appetizers and pizzas are half price, and there are drink discounts, too. I liked that they are regular menu items, not just something small that they created knowing it would be cheap. In fact, I have had a couple of these appetizers, when I paid full price for them. I thought the full price was appropriate, so was happy to pay half of that.

- Wisconsin Cheese Curds
- Boneless Wings
- Poke Nachos
- Classic Sliders
- Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza

The food was great, and service was excellent. The server offered separate checks for our large group, and got each order and bill correct.
It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed the outdoor patio. There were sports playing on big screens, but I was too busy enjoying the conversations to pay attention to the games.
The overall experience was great, so I'd be happy to go to Yard House for happy hour again.
