Morro Bay Sweet Treat Stop
When strolling along the coastal Embarcadero in Morro Bay, finding a cozy spot to grab a hot drink and a tasty sweet treat is always a highlight.
On my recent visit, I made a stop at Sun n Buns Bakery, a super cute little bakery and coffee shop located at 830 Embarcadero (on the inland, non-bay side of the street).
🥐 Pastries, Sweets & Coastal Charm
Sun n Buns Bakery has a wonderful, relaxing vibe that makes you want to linger.
It looks especially charming in the evening when their festive cafe lights glow along the street front.
Inside, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and there are plenty of delicious choices to satisfy any craving:
- Fresh Baked Goods: Pastries, turnovers, cookies, and dessert items.
- Coffees & Drinks: Hot coffee, espresso beverages, and refreshing cold options.
- Ice Cream & Candy: A fun variety of sweet treats for all ages.
🍑 Peach Turnover Highlight
During my stop, I picked up a peach turnover and it was delicious!
The crust was fresh and flaky, filled with rich, sweet fruit flavor.
It was such a satisfying treat to enjoy while taking in the fresh coastal air.
There are a few tables available inside if you want to sit and relax, or you can easily get your goodies packed up to go as you stroll along the waterfront.
