The Noodle Palace
I am a big fan of Vietnamese food, and was happy to discover The Noodle Palace at The Barnyard in Carmel By The Sea on a recent trip up the California Coast.
The Barnyard is home to a good variety of International foods from Europe and Asia, which is great for foodies from the US and those who are visiting from far away. The Noodle Palace is on the second floor above the Lafayette French Bakery.
I found many favorites on the menu, and chose a Banh Mi sandwich and an iced Vietnamese coffee made with sweetened condensed milk.

The food was good, and the ingredients were fresh. The nearby Salinas Valley is known as the Salad Bowl of the World, since they grow so many vegetables. These are then shipped around the country and world, so all can enjoy.
My sandwich and drink were authentic and I enjoyed the meal. It was also nice to wander around the other shops in this quaint center.
