The Yard House Happy Hour
When I took a road trip to Palmdale, I enjoyed the Yard House happy hour at the Antelope Valley Mall. I’ve been to other locations for lunch and dinner, but this was the first time I arrived at the right time for happy hour.
The menu and timing can vary at each location, but in Palmdale happy hour is from 3 to 6pm Monday through Friday. Additionally, there is a late night happy hour after 10pm Sunday through Wednesday.
Select appetizers and pizzas are half price, and there are drink discounts, too. I liked that they are regular menu items, not just something small that they created knowing it would be cheap. In fact, I have had a couple of these appetizers, when I paid full price for them. I thought the full price was appropriate, so was happy to pay half of that.

The food was great, and service was excellent.
The server offered separate checks for our large group, and got each order and bill correct.
It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed the outdoor patio.
There were sports playing on big screens, but I was too busy enjoying the conversations to pay attention to the games.
The overall experience was great, so I’d be happy to go to Yard House for happy hour again.
