with the flavors of apple pie
Enjoy my apple pie green smoothie, when you want a beverage that is made with nutritious ingredients and tastes like a treat.
This smoothie is a pretty green color, since it is made with spinach.
I don’t really notice the flavor of the greens, but I am happy to have the added nutrition and pretty color.
You can use whatever type of apple you’d like, and you can leave the peal on.
I like a cold smoothie, so I use a frozen banana for this.
When my bananas are beginning to become overripe, I just pop them into the freezer to use in smoothies.
If you’d rather use a fresh banana, that is fine, too.
Apple pie spice gives this smoothie it’s classic pie flavor.
This spice is a blend that can include cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger and cardamom.
It doesn’t have sugar in it, but apple pie spice has a natural sweetness and a sweet aroma.
This smoothie is great for kids and adults, when you want a fun and delicious way to get your greens.
I hope you enjoy my apple pie green smoothie!
