Oatmeal Smoothie
with Apples and Caramel
When you want a creamy drink that is a special treat, make this caramel apple oatmeal smoothie and savor each decadent sip.
The smoothie has nutritious oats blended in, so it feels a like breakfast even though it tastes like caramel.
Tart green apples are my favorites for this smoothie, since the tart taste is a nice contrast to the caramel.
If you prefer another type of apple, that’s fine, of course.
This tasty smoothie is a great treat for kids and adults.
If you are in a rush, you can skip the garnish.
However, adding diced apple chunks and a caramel drizzle make this smoothie extra fun.

Caramel Apple Oatmeal Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup Oats
Green Apple
Banana
1 T Caramel Sauce
¾ cup Milk (or plant-based alternative)
Optional Garnish
Diced Apple
Caramel Sauce
Supplies
Blender
Knife
Measuring Cup
Measuring Spoon
Instructions
1) Core apple and peal banana.
2) Add oats, apple, banana, caramel sauce and milk to a blender and blend until smooth.
3) Pour into a glass.
4) If garnishing, top with diced green apple and drizzle with caramel sauce.
