Chocolate Hazelnut Pinwheel Magic

Craving a sweet treat but short on time?

These chocolate hazelnut pinwheel cookies are your answer!

With just two simple ingredients – pre-rolled pie crust and your favorite chocolate hazelnut spread (I love Good Good Choco Hazel for a sugar-free option, but Nutella works perfectly too!) – you can have warm, gooey cookies in minutes.

Plus, they’re so easy, even the little ones can help!

Chocolate Hazelnut Pinwheel Cookies Recipe

Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 8 to 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pre-rolled pie crust dough (the refrigerated kind)
  • ½ cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (Good Good Choco Hazel No Sugar Added OR Nutella)

Supplies

Rimmed baking sheet
Silicone baking mat or parchment paper
Wire rack

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. Unroll the pie crust dough onto a clean surface.
  3. Spread the chocolate hazelnut spread evenly over the entire surface of the pie crust, leaving a small edge uncovered.
  4. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the pie crust into a log, like a jelly roll.
  5. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into rounds.
  6. Place the pinwheel slices onto a silicone baking mat or parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for later.
