Chocolate Hazelnut Pinwheel Cookies Recipe
Prep time: 5 minutes
Bake time: 8 to 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 pre-rolled pie crust dough (the refrigerated kind)
- ½ cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (Good Good Choco Hazel No Sugar Added OR Nutella)
Supplies
Rimmed baking sheet
Silicone baking mat or parchment paper
Wire rack
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Unroll the pie crust dough onto a clean surface.
- Spread the chocolate hazelnut spread evenly over the entire surface of the pie crust, leaving a small edge uncovered.
- Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the pie crust into a log, like a jelly roll.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the log into rounds.
- Place the pinwheel slices onto a silicone baking mat or parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving a little space between each cookie.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Enjoy immediately, or store in an airtight container for later.
