Jarman Wine Tasting
When you are looking for the best from Holman Ranch Vineyards and Winery, you want Jarman Wine.
The vineyard is owned by the Lowder family.
Grapes are hand selected from the estate to create Jarman Chardonnay and Jarman Pinot Noir.
You can try both at their tasting room in Carmel Valley Thursday through Monday or by appointment.
Winery History
The premium wine brand is named after Jarman Lowder, who passed away several years ago after a battle with early onset Alzheimer’s.
This family created it to honor her legacy.
As an added bonus, they have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation to donate a portion of their sales towards the search for a cure.
Tasting Room
The tasting room is right next door to Will’s Fargo Restaurant that is owned by the same family.
There is an indoor lounge and outdoor tables on the patio.
It’s a great place to visit on it’s own or before a meal at Will’s Fargo.
You can order a tasting flight by itself or pair it with a seasonal carving board.
If you want to do your tasting elsewhere, they can pack up a picnic to go.
They also offer tours of the nearby vineyards and wine cave by special appointment.
