The Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Bar is located at the Avenue of The Arts Wyndham Hotel in Orange County.

It is across from the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and just a short walk or drive to South Coast Plaza.

They held a special event to welcome executive head chef Eddie Garcia to the restaurant and to showcase Olivi Wines.

A delicious pairing menu was served.

The chef’s passion for fine food combined with passionately crafted Italian wines was evident with each course.

A Night in Tuscany
presented by Silver Trumpet Restaurant and Olivi Wines

First Course:

Pan Fried Branzino with sweet pea puree and kalamata olives

Served with Zelia 2012 – Rose

Second Course:

Thyme, Garlic & Parmesan Tagliatelli Pasta with baby arugula, pine nuts tossed in olive extra virgin olive oil, salt & pepper

Served with Orhora 2012 – White

Third Course:

Slow Roasted Short Rib Beef with Yukon gold hash, pearl onions & basil tabbouleh

Served with Le Buche 2008 – Red

Dessert Course:

Homemade Tiramisu with raspberry coulis, wine bottle chocolate garnish

I enjoyed the evening and would love to go back again.

The food is fantastic and the hotel is a great spot for locals to have a staycation and a good, central location for out of towners to experience Orange County.
