If you are a jicama fan, you will love this quick and easy jicama salsa recipe.
This root vegetable is not something I grew up with. The first time I had a bite of jicama as an adult, I was hooked.
It is sweet, juicy and has a really nice crunch. These days, I’ve got at least one jicama in the house just about every week.
This salsa is simple to make. It only takes a few minutes of prep time and doesn’t require any specialized kitchen tools.
It goes well with chips, and is also delicious as a topping for tacos, tostadas and burritos.
The firm texture of the jicama makes it ideal to make ahead of time. It will still crunch, if you eat it hours after making it.
