Fruit Salsa Made with Mango and Strawberry

Mango Strawberry Salsa

When it comes to salsa, I like to mix it up with this mango and strawberry salsa recipe.

The flavors are fresh and bright, so it’s fun for all of us to eat.

Salsa does not need to come out of a jar.

It is super easy to make from fresh ingredients, so it’s fun to get creative with the flavors.

Strawberries and mangoes look and taste great together.

Since both of these fruits are available just about year round, you can enjoy it often.

However, I tend to enjoy it more in the Summer, when both fruits are at their peak locally.

Both fruits are rich antioxidants and folate, which is great. But it’s the taste that I enjoy most.

The salsa is yummy with chips, of course, but can also be served with other foods.

I had this batch of fruit salsa with eggs in a breakfast burrito and it was amazing.

How do you like to eat salsa?

Mango Strawberry Salsa Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup Mango, chopped
1 cup Strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup Red Onion, chopped
1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
1 t Granulated Garlic
1/2 t Salt

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Gently mix together. (I like using tongs instead of a spoon, since it’s easier to avoid smashing the fruit)

Serve immediately or chill before serving.
