Peppermint Chocolate Cocktail
Try an ice cold glass of my chocolate peppermint white Russian, when you’d like to sip a holiday twist on a classic cocktail.
When I tasted my first white Russian many years ago, I loved that this is a drink that tastes like dessert.
This holiday version of the creamy coffee cocktail adds in both chocolate and peppermint, so it is even more of a decadent treat.
It is perfect to serve with a candy cane or peppermint stick as you celebrate the season, but you just may like it the rest of the year without the candy garnish.
This is a quick and easy cocktail, so you can easily mix one up for a holiday guest.
And, if your liquor cabinet looks like mine, you may already have all or most of the ingredients on hand.
White Russians are not actually from Russia.
The beverage is white due to the cream and Russian, since much of the vodka we have here in the US is from Russia.
Fans of The Big Lebowski are know that The Dude was quite fond of the cocktail.
Chocolate and Peppermint are a tasty addition to this classic, so it is a lovely beverage to enjoy (responsibly) throughout the holiday season.
