Strawberry Pineapple Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces (1 pound ) Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Pineapple Juice (preferably chilled)
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk
  • Optional: Honey, agave syrup, or your preferred sweetener, to taste

Supplies

High-Speed Blender

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, and coconut milk into your high-speed blender.
  2. Blend to Smoothness: Blend the ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the mixture is too thick to blend easily, gradually add small amounts of additional pineapple juice or coconut milk until it is completely blended.
  3. Taste and Sweeten (Optional): Taste the sorbet and add your chosen sweetener, if needed. Blend again briefly to incorporate the sweetener evenly.
  4. Serve or Freeze
Soft-Serve: For a soft-serve style treat, serve immediately.
Firm Sorbet: For a firmer sorbet, transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.
  5. Enjoy: Scoop and serve your delicious homemade sorbet! If frozen solid, allow it to thaw for a few minutes before scooping.

Tips

  • Using chilled pineapple juice will help keep the sorbet cold during blending.
  • Adjust the amount of sweetener to your preference, keeping in mind the natural sweetness of the fruit.
  • If you do not have a high speed blender, a food processor will work, but may take longer to reach the correct consistancy.
  • Fruit varies in sweetness, so taste as you go!

Enjoy your homemade sorbet!
